My paper has given out so I have to use this!
Jean arrived safe and sound Friday afternoon, and I was so glad to see her. She went to Miss Taylor’s and I didn’t see her till the [new] morning and then only for a minute. I had to go over to get made up for the Play and then we had our pictures [taken] and then came the afternoon performance. It was such fun and the audience was so enthusiastic. They gave us all curtain calls afterwards, and it was

grand and exciting. Then we trotted [Laura] for awhile with [her]. I found eight boxes of flowers and nearly fainted dead away from joy! The Cast and Committee had dinner in Freshman Parlor at six, and incidentally saw the Seniors going into dinner in their Washington’s Birthday attire. One [table]] was Brigham Young and his wives - and they were lovely; they had the House Wife, the Athletic Wife, the Downtrodden Wife, etc. Inez as the Jealous Wife was killing.

was even better than the afternoon, I think, but when the curtain fell on the last Act we almost dissolved into tears, we were all so mad it was over! We are going to have a grape-juice reunion party tonight!!

I have returned from the reunion party where we whooped and screamed and “took” everybody off. It certainly has been fun! Tonight after Prayer Meeting Jean was looking to
[Helen] MacWilliams so Carol and I retired and had a lovely gobble together. She goes tomorrow, I think, and Jean will be here till Tuesday. She says, which makes me rejoice muchly, of course. She can tell you the doings so much better than I can, that I guess I’ll stop and let her do the rest.
