The National W. S. A. presents each of its friends a bound volume of the Council Report, as a beautiful and permanent souvenir of that wonderful gathering of women.
Enclosed with yours you will find sundry Congressional documents; also the Financial Report of the Society. From this you will see that great as were the expenses of the Council, should each friend on receipt of the book, send a contribution to help defray expressage, etc., our treasury may still escape depletion.
Hoping to hear that the book arrives safely,
