Wednesday March 9.
Dearest daddykins
I thought you might be interested in a thing Miss Salmon has given us to do for history, and that perhaps you might like to help me out a bit, though of course not unless it strikes your fancy. Each girl was given a blank to fill out with answers to questions relating to historical material available in her own town, and I’ll just copy the questions on the next page: --

mental and literary primary sources would be for instance President Harrison’s residence, and that essay by Miss Merrill “Indianapolis in War Time”, and doubtless you’ll be able to think of lots of others. I should think the fact that the town was laid out sort of after the plan of Washington D.C. might be called monumental evidence. Why is Military Park so-called etc?
You know from the letter I wrote sister of course what a perfectly scrumptious time I had with the Robbinses in New York. They all were looking well and wanted particularly to be remembered to you. How is Mr Kiefer? Will he build again? How soon are the Giffiths to go to Liverpool? It’s raining like anything to day so I’m going to take my exercise swimming in the gymnasium tank. Then I’m going to an organ recital in the New Chapel, and there’s some studying to be done, so you see I’ll have a pretty full afternoon.
Goodbye dad, your letter was fine and I deposited the thirty dollars with the treasures until vacation arrives.
Lots and lots of love
Peg
