Dearest Mamie
Well if it isn’t Thursday already! I’ve done nothing but dig since I wrote you on Sunday and I’m so busy I’d almost forgotten it was time I was a-writing you again -- but I haven’t much to say. I had to give a ten minute history topic in class this morning. I was sort of nervous about it and I feel tired now that it’s over with. Betty says I didn’t disgrace myself though so

I feel consoled. Polly asked about you and dad this morning and wanted me to give you her love.
Farewell
Slews of love
Peg.
There is going to be a hall play either Feb 18th or 25th -- then there is Washington’s birthday. Do come then!!!
