Dearest Daddykins,
Since Mr. and Mrs Snow arrived we have been having an awfully good time. We were sort of lonesome before. Wasn’t it perfectly darline in them to come? They were at Watch Hill you know, and half an hour after they got sister’s letter saying we were to be at Gloucester, they

got ready and come to see us. This morning Mr Snow had to go to New York on business. Mrs Snow will stay with us and go to New York with us on Tuesday. We are going to stay there for two or three days and [bum] round Wednesday evening they are going to try and get Booth Tarkington to come to dinner

and go to the theater afterward with us. Won't that be perfectly great?
This morning Mrs Jameson and family came over from the “Mooreland” to call. To morrow sis and I are going to dine with Mr and Mrs Robbins and Mrs Jameson has invited Mrs Snow to come and dine with her.

I saw Charles the other day you know. He is a very handsome nice boy. Mrs Jameson looked as gay as ever this mroning -- all dressed in white satin. IMagine for a morning call. But she was very sweet.
Has Mr Lyman come east for Eloise yet! I haven’t heard from her since I came here.

I think its very strange that it should take so long for our letters to reach you. I think the news about the little Dunn boy is perfectly shocking! He was such a lovely child. I don’t see how his father and mother can stand it. They say he was drowned in only three feet of water. Please forgive this horrible writing daddy but the pens and ink are ghastly here! Well good might honey with lots of love from baby.
