Correspondence concerning Vassar College activities, speeches, and engagements with Lyman Abbott, Nathan Bishop, Stephan M. Buckingham, Charles S. Farrar, Milo P. Jewett, Maria Mitchell, John H. Raymond, Lucy M. Salmon, James Monroe Taylor, Matthew Vassar, and Henry Van Ingen, with some family correspondence. Other items include his notes from a trip to Washington, D.C. in 1861, and miscellaneous programs.

The collection contains
correspondence between C. Matilda (Mortimer) Remington, her brother Benjamin
Mortimer, her sister-in-law Sarah (Bates) Mortimer, and her mother. Also included are
childhood drawings and sketches by Charlotte and a poem entitled "Reading" she wrote
at age 13.

The collection contains material related to Elizabeth Cady Stanton's work for women's suffrage, abolition, temperance, and other social causes. Includes family and professional correspondence, biographical and autobigraphical material, transcripts of her speeches, and photographs. Also includes material by others, such as her daughter, Margaret Stanton Lawrence, about the women's movement and Stanton's life and career.

Correspondence, manuscripts, a scrapbook, and other materials relating to Raymond's personal life as well as his work as a minister, one of the founders of the University of Rochester and then president of Vassar College.

Papers primarily concerning her work in literature, publishing, and editing, especially for children, and including correspondence, manuscripts, illustrations, biographical information, and published articles and reviews from or pertaining to authors, illustrators, and publishers.

Correspondence, mostly from Dr. Margaret Stanley-Brown to her sister Ruth. The collection also includes letters to and from other family members.

the McKinney Family Papers. Contains correspondence, notes, clippings, obituaries,
business papers and ephemera.

The bulk of the collection consists of Lowrie's manuscripts of published and unpublished book reviews, 1934-1952. Other items include correspondence relating to Vassar College, her work as a book reviewer, responses to her reviews, her health, comments on people and politics, popular culture, her dogs, and other personal issues. There is also family and biographical material, her Christmas card collection, and other items.

Material relating to Mason's work as a writer and literary agent as well as more personal material regarding her family, friends, marriage and education. Includes, professional and personal correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, postcards, and biographical information; and Eliot F. Bartlett's correspondence and notes regarding these papers.

Includes manuscripts, notes, diaries, clippings, certificates, deeds and photographs; but of particular note are the letters Clemens wrote to his family describing his early adulthood as well as the development and progression of his writing career.
